7:41 a.m. Thursday: James "Sonny" L. Buchanan, 39, was shot while pushing a lawnmower in the 11000 block of Rockville Pike in the White Flint area of Rockville, Md., according to police. Buchanan is of the 300 block of Gibson Street, SE in Arlington, Va.
